EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT - STARTUP BERLIN: GUIDANCE FOR ITALIAN PROGRAMMERS

"Startup Berlin: Guidance for Italian Programmers" is an information packed, half-day workshop designed to help Italian programmers make an informed decision about moving to Berlin and understand what is involved when moving to the city to work as a software developer at a startup.

The workshop is organized by FC Garage and will be held on the 26th of May, 2012, in Berlin at Ahoy, a typical coworking space in Berlin.

Katrin Rampf, Operations Manager at FC Garage, will discuss how to effectively address tax issues, as well as administrative and organizational issues required to move to Berlin.

Francesco Cirillo, Founder of FC Garage, will also be discussing the distinctive elements of a startup and describe the startup market from a Berlin resident's point of view. The more technical topics relating to the specific skills required by startup will also be covered, along with suggestions on how to create a path of self-improvement training for those planning to propose themselves as job candidates.

The workshop will conclude with an open question and answer session.

Entrance to the workshop is free, however, registration is required.
